Ellsworth Creamery celebrates opening of Menomonie location

Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) Secretary and CEO Missy Hughes and Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) Secretary Randy Romanski were on hand Thursday to support the dairy farmer owners and cheesemakers of Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery as they held a grand opening for their new Menomonie creamery and store.
“This new facility will allow Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery to share the wonders of Wisconsin cheese curds with even more people,” said Hughes. “The more than $26 million investment in this facility will allow the creamery to grow nationally and internationally as well as develop additional specialty cheeses.”
